Prom Portrait Packages have arrived from Sage Studios Photography and are available at the Attendance Office. Stop in, pick up your portraits. 


Did you misplace anything this school year? Do not forget to check the lost and found before the end of the school year! There is a lost and found in the Main Office as well as the Security Office in the commons. 


Elevator Keys are due back by the 26th of MAY! If you have an elevator key that you no longer need, please bring it to the main office. 


Attention students enrolled in Advanced English 10 for next school year: There is a summer assignment to complete.  The assignment is now available in room C218.  Stop by anytime between 7:30am – 8:10am OR 3:15pm – 3:30pm to pick it up. Please email with any questions. Happy reading! 5/25 


Hello Junior Students! If you have registered for AP English 12 please check your email and stop in C212 to pick up your summer assignment.

Scholarship opportunity for seniors at Central who plan to major in Education! There are three $1000 M.L. Wilhelm Education scholarships available for students who plan to major in Education in college. Please pick up the application in the Cobbler Career Center. The deadline is May 13, 2022.   5/13 


If you are a FALL WDT Dual Enrollment student at CHS and have not yet turned in your approval form, please do so ASAP! Forms are returned to the Cobbler Career Center. 


Seniors – If you have not picked up your Graduation Cap & Gown or announcements, please see Jeanette or Steph in the CCC! We still have several of them that have not been collected! You have already paid for these, so do not let your money go to waste!  


Summa/Magna/Cum Laude students – If you were not able to attend Honors Convocation on Monday night, please see Jeanette in the CCC for your Honors packet that includes your gold tassel and Cum Laude medal. 


Attention, Cobblers!  Blood Drive cords are in!  If you are a senior who has donated and/or helped with at least 3 blood drives in your high school career, stop in and see Mrs. Linde in S102 to pick yours up!  Keep saving lives, Cobblers! 


Activities News:  

National Honor Society Seniors: Check out your graduation stoles from Mrs. Mueller in C228. Stoles must be returned to the office by Thursday, June 2. You can purchase a stole for $25. 


There will be a short Girls Basketball Meeting in the Cardio Room at 3:30 on Monday, May 16. 


School of Mines is hosting the E-sports Grand Finals of the Grubby High School League this Saturday at their E-sports facility. Central has a team (G3) playing in their inaugural Rocket League tournament! They are planning on streaming all the matches on their Twitch Channel. If you wish to support Central’s team, the games start at 2:00 pm, Central plays at 5 pm. Go Cobblers! 


Sideline Cheer for Fall 2022 is hosting a Cheer Clinic on May 24th from 4-5:30pm. Tryouts will be held on Thursday, May 26th at 4:30pm. A current physical is required to be on file by May 23rd to participate.  Any questions, please contact pam Junek at  5/24 


Dance and Cheer Tryouts for Fall 2022 are around the corner! Any Cobbler can try out! Attend one clinic: May 17 after school (3:30-4:30) or May 18 before school (6:30-7:30am) Tryouts held: May 18 at 4 pm. Sign-ups are available in the Activities office or in Ms. Stephens room D210.  5/17 


National Honor Society Members: Our final meeting is Wednesday, May 11 in the freshman commons.
Seniors: We will meet from 7:35-7:50 to take a senior photo for the yearbook and check out stoles (you can purchase a stole for $25) 

Juniors: Your meeting will start at 7:50. We will discuss the officer situation and summer & 2022-2023 expectations. Maybe meet your new advisor(s).
