April 8 & 9: Smarter Balanced Testing

April 26: Break – No School
Smarter Balanced Testing
Just a reminder that SmarterBalanced testing is on April 8 & 9.  If you haven’t done so already, please check your testing room assignment posted on the glass case outside the Cobbler Career Center.
On testing days, please bring:
  • Laptop and charger
  • Wired headphones
  • Pencils
  • Book to read when finished
  • Water bottle, snack (optional)
Plan to arrive for testing by 8:15. A snack will be provided during your break. Testing will be completed around 1:00. You will be dismissed for the day but are welcome to stay for lunch. You will not attend regularly scheduled classes on testing days. The results of this test are important to us all. Get plenty of sleep the night before and eat something before the test each morning. If you need to be gone, see Mrs. Griffin in the office to schedule your makeups. You can use your test scores for college admission and college course placement tests so give it your best effort. Good luck!

Did you sign up for any CHS/WDT dual enrollment classes for fall semester?

If so, you will need to complete the WDT dual enrollment paperwork.  You may have registered through Skyward, but you also need to complete the online WDT enrollment application as well.  If you do not complete this process through WDT by the end of the school year, you are not registered, and the class will be dropped from your schedule.

Please bring your laptop and come to the CCC anytime during the following days:

Assistance with this will be available in the CCC on     Tuesday, April 16 – 11:30-3:30pm

If you qualify for tuition assistance, this paperwork must be submitted no later than May 15.

You can also still sign up for dual enrollment through WDT or any of the Board of Regent schools (BHSU, SDSMT, etc.). For more information and how to apply, please check out the HSDE_Student_Guide.pdf
