Do you love or hate snow?
For me it’s a sign that the school year is almost half over. You may be elated about this or sad that your senior year is going by so fast…as the first semester ends, please be aware of where you sit grade-wise. If you think you will fail a required course, see your counselor so we can get it re-scheduled for semester 2. We want to ensure that you can graduate in May ’24!
Here’s some great news to start your week 🙂
We will once again be offering a spring finals exemption for seniors who earn a SILVER or above on the upcoming NCRC. Some classes (ie AP & other advanced classes) may still require a final but you can potentially be done with school on Tuesday, May 21st if you do well on the NCRC next week! PLEASE review the attached flyer to learn more about what you will be tested over. LOTS of the CHS students do very well on this problem-solving assessment. As an example, last year almost 79% of our students earned a Platinum, Gold or Silver certificate. Find out which testing block you are assigned to by checking the glass cases by the Cobbler Career Center. Bring your charged laptop and a calculator!

Students interested in STEM fields, check out the attached info about the 2024 Davis Bachall program. A CHS graduating senior from ’23 participated in this amazing program and you can too! This 4 week seminar ends with a trip to England…💂‍♂️
Reminder: Thursday, November 30th is the last day to apply for free to SD colleges!
We hope to see you all at the winter semi formal this Saturday, December 2nd in Naaz. Music, concessions, games and a photo ops await. Get your tickets in advance for a chance to win dinner at Olive Garden!
